Dream•sync

...where I attempt to synchronize my latest dreams...
...with my current reality...

So the trip is just about done.  I"m on the final leg of it yet you who actually read this blog are still stuck at last Tuesday :)  Never fear, I've had the chance to blog offline a bit while on the trip.  So here's the first installment:

So…apparently my laptop has absolutely NO battery life left because when we stopped at the last place and Katie turned off the car, my laptop went off too – and no recovery file for the stuff I had just written…  ah well.  Here goes for a reprint…

Tuesday Katie picked me up from work at 5 and I took her to the Great Harvest Bread Company where we picked up some loves for the rest of the trip.  If you're ever near one of these stores - go in...buy a drink and get a free hot slices of freshly baked bread :)

Then we said goodbye to Logan Utah and headed north into Idaho.  Green rolling hills and little to no traffic.

We took the scenic route and while we were on the way Katie needed something out of the very back of our packed vehicle.  Since I was driving she unbuckled and crawled over the stuff.  I had to refrain from looking into the rearview because all I could see was the top of her hat, her rear end and the bottoms of her feet :)  So she got the stuff she needed, but then couldn’t get back to the passenger seat… so funny.  She scooched up to the front and ended up kinda wrapped up in a pretzel shape before finally sliding back into her seat.  We laughed so hard we cried… and the whole time I’m just praying that a cop doesn’t come up and see what she’s doing…try explaining that one….

Crossed the border into Montana and completely missed the sign for a picture – it was tiny.  Drove a ways in the dark before getting to West Yellowstone.  We stayed on the edge of town in a Comfort Inn.  Not bad for both the price and the location. Checked in around midnight and finally got to sleep around 1 AM.
Woke up the next morning and got our first look at the surrounding forests…

My photo
Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

Lux et Veritas

But I will hope continually
and will praise you
yet more and more.
My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,
of your deeds of salvation
all the day,
for their number
is past my knowledge.
With the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD I will come;
I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.
