Wow.....considering the past few work weeks have been awful, I'm having a good night.....mostly because I just beat a game I got for Christmas....Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within.  Actually a pretty good game minus a few points.....but I always feel a sense of satisfaction when I complete the game----and both endings as well.  Nothing like putting down the evil beast at the end of the game and sailing into a cliffhanger.....which has me all set for POP3....whenever that comes out.....

This weekend I will probably stay home----which is surprising considering the last few weekends I haven't been home at all.  Last weekend I was in PA spending time with my friends Matt & Anna and their daughter Katherine.  I always enjoy visiting--wish I lived closer---each time I go out it makes it more difficult to come back to the work I've been having to do.  Extremely hard....but all in good time.  I should really do some landscape design work....since I'm enrolled in classes but haven't done anything since November.....good thing it's on your own shcedule :)

Had a weird dream last night....consisted of someone I know making a really stupid comment when Pastor Bryan asked them to give a testimony of some sort.  Later in my dream the person confessed to being on ecstasy.....no clue where that came from......can you tell work has been rough?

On another note, I've started taking my Bible with me daily to work, on the off chance that I will have a normal lunch where I can do some reading and studying.  I find that I feel like I have to 'hide' it when I'm studying for fear of being 'discovered'.  I'm thinking it probably stems from the very liberal work place that I'm in.  Probably also a bit from my fear that someone may confront me about it.  I keep doing it though.  Reading scripture and copying verses down in the middle of a very hectic day tends to focus one on the bigger picture.  It also stretches my faith.  Faith that God has a plan for my life and that even though I might not think I'm in the right place (ulterior motives!) that He's using me where I am for the time being.  And teaching me patience as I wait on Him for my next move.....

Ok....this was a VERY long post :)  Hopefully I didn't lose anyone in the midst of it.........I'm heading upstairs to read a bit before getting a full night's rest (for once!)

Night

I am so tired of work...tired of the unbelieveable amount of tasks I am expected to complete in such a limited amount of time with little or no resources.

So maybe I'm not tired of 'work' I'm tired of the work that I'm currently doing...

I should get back to my landscape design studies.......and get my certificate.....and think about a new job.....
*sigh*

Three more days before my family gets here.....3 days to try to complete a demo cd of a very complex product.....

argh....hope your day is going better than mine...although I'm happy the day here at work is finally over.......

Is the week over yet?

Lunchtime at work....I need to get out and refresh.  My head is pounding

Good news!  Found out that my Uncle Rick & Aunt Chris & the boys will be coming for Easter.....should make for a very interesting weekend....

I've learned a lot this week when it comes to home improvement projects....the flooring in the bathroom and entryway I finished early this week at Joshua's parents place.  The finishing touches are going to be put on later tonight and this weekend.  I had a brief dream that Joshua's mom came home early and wanted all the old handles put back on the cupboards.....which I don't think will happen...lol

God has been teaching me to trust Him for my personal security...had a freaky thing happen early this week which I won't go into...in any case...i'm off to grab lunch and get my head screwed back on straight....I will be glad when 5 o-clock comes around.......

What a week it has been........so monday I did some unpacking and finished putting up the towel racks and shelves in the bathroom, then I took a break and got online and talked with my sister Val for a bit.....my mistake was eating some leftover cheescake from the past weekend.......

Tuesday 5 AM...rude awakening....spent the day tuesday suffereing from the effects of food poisoning....same thing that Emily had on Sunday.....wednesday was better, but I was still off work.  Came in to work yesterday, but since I still hadn't really eaten anything I was falling asleep at 4 PM...so I went home early....
Today I came prepared with corn pops and Hi-C...which seems to be the only thing I can stomach right now

Tomorrow I will sleep in....and then go to work at Joshua's.  I get to work on the flooring which I'm excited about.....something new that I'm eager to get my hands on.....Then it will be time to sit down and figure out what to do with the living room......all in good time.....

Hopefully I won't get sick from the paint fumes

Wow what a week.......Monday was killer, then I left for Atlanta GA to train customers---the training was in Athens on Wednesday.  Had the largest group yet for training--over 50.  It went really well.  Flew back on Thursday and took the day off work.  I think I had picked something up from one of the customers at training----a few were really sick......Went to work on Joshua's parent's house.....inhaled WAY too much plaster dust and saw dust.....and now I'm paying for it with a massive case of Bronchitis....Friday was back to work.....it was CRAZY busy...always is after a trip.....but it's my last one for a very long while......

This past weekend got to spend time with Emily B.  Happy Birthday!  And had a GREAT time.....*sigh*

Anyway.....need to get to work....I'm actually going home tonight.....not traveling anywhere, nothing planned....no work to do (outside of unpacking my place......yep....not done yet...haven't been home but 3 days in the past month)...

Lata....

Good Monday morning to you

And Happy Presidents' Day......Though I'm happy about the day I wish the banks weren't closed...except for my Aunt's credit union....she needs a break every once in a while!

Anyway, had an intersting couple of dreams last night.....I'll journal them out first and then copy them in later.....really strange.......

Woo Hoo!  My Aunt Ann and My Grandpa B might be coming out for Easter Weekend as well......My family, Grandparents on my mom's side (affectionately called 'G&G') and possibly my Uncle Rick and Aunt Chris and boys (from whom I got the nickname 'balsteeno') may be coming out......I'm still working on the details with my parents, but it will be great no matter who comes.

I'm looking forward to having my parents come to Heritage on Easter Sunday morning....especially since everyone has prayed for them through my Dad's surgery and recovery.  It will be good to put a person with the answered prayer--God is GOOD!!

k....Gotta get back to work.  Unlike my Credit Union, I don't have the day off

Hello again.....I've got precious little time to do this today....lunch is over and it's hiccuped on me so I'm having to retype a lot of the stuff I had in here already.....Valentine's Day was nice---went out to dinner with some friends which beat sitting at home, unpacking....anyway had a freaky dream the night of the 13th......

Dad and I were at Ridge, in the old church building. It was dark, almost a twilight dark blue hue over everything....some guys came up on my dad and shot him in the shoulder. Dad fired back as he went down and took out the one guy. I grabbed Dad’s long barrel rifle and shot the other guy about to kill me twice and he went down.

I went to Dad and we put a bandage on his left shoulder where the bullet had gone clean through and made him a sling. Then I put latex gloves on and cleaned all my prints off the gun and moved the bodies. This happened in the coat room above the step to the fellowship hall in the basement. I stuffed one of the guys in the corner rack right by the stair going up. The other one was left on the ground. Dad said that we should grab some supplies and make for the woods because they would think that he had killed them in cold blood. I thought that was foolish and that we should wait for the cops and explain what happened.

Needless to say I followed my dad’s instructions and we went to the woods. We were sitting on wet partially rotted tree stumps in the wet woods when someone came and found us and told us that the police were at the building. I was suddenly looking at the coroner putting the body on the floor on a stretcher and taking it up the stairs, walking by the other body stuffed in the closet without noticing it. The weird part was they hadn’t turned on any lights. And the bodies—the skin was almost glowing whitish blue...an unearthly hue, and there was no blood.

Then I was back in the woods with dad and he said we should turn ourselves in. I told him that I should take the heat because they would see it as self defense in my case. He agreed and I remember sitting in the police station with cuff on thinking that I was going to get off completely clean. They had the cuffs on for procedure; I was getting off with self defense. It was obvious.

So read and analyze then give me your insight  Gotta run...lots of work to do before tonight....

What a night   it was girls night at Kristin's and I am wiped out.  I ended up doing everyone's nails---yes--I did nails and even Stephanie's.  We stayed up till 2 I think (I'd rather not know---I've got a killer headache).  Great times talking about life...and eating chocolate and such.

So in the next few hours I will be finalizing the craft for tonight.  Steph and I and a few other girls are going to be watching the Young Married's kids tonight so they can have a break and celebrate Valentine's Day without the kids around. Should be a nice change for an evening.  Definitely be a different Saturday night for me---but good.  It's a comfort to know that while we might be having some 'fun' with the kids that they're parents will get a time of emotional/physical and spiritual rest.  Everyone needs that now and again.

So....without further adieu...I've got to finish the craft.....

I'm praying that the aspirin kicks in......

Hello there :)  I'm at lunch and since I'm pretty sure I won't have a chance to put anything in here till tomorrow night I've added the promised dream from my journal, so here's one from May 16, 2002. It's a longer one....enjoy.....

I was at a school—one with dark red brick walls and deep mahogany wood doors and windows. I was dressed in a ‘school girl’ outfit—red and deep green plaid skirt and white top. I think my hair was in pigtails as well. I had a little black backpack. I remember walking through the halls looking for a specific room—when I found it my Aunt Ann was in there; she was the teacher. I went in and noticed that my black suit was hanging on the door—only it had been modified to fit someone with a perfect hourglass figure. It also had some cut-out design on the lapels. So it was a bit different from my suit.

I’m not sure what happened from there…..I started dreaming about my fish. I had a tank set up only it didn’t have just my goldfish….it had a gray—almost white catfish, as well as a blue lobster. But the tank was weird. It was like a huge expanse—there was no scenery—only white background, the greenish tint of the aquarium glass, the black molding of the tank, the brick red gravel, and me. It was like we were surrounded by a great white nothingness. Maybe it was more like a long expanse of beach…

I remember finding this worm looking thing floating in the tank—it was yellow and it turned out to be a tiny lace seahorse that kept stretching out and curling up. I was afraid something in my tank would eat it. Somehow the tank tipped over and the fish were lying on this red sand beach—only there were no waves and no water that I could see. I remember looking at the tipped tank and realizing my fish were all going to die—and how was I to find the small seahorse? I can see the fish lying there—especially my two large black moors—gills pumping, trying to get as much life out of the air as they could.

I tipped the tank up and filled it with water (from who knows where). I picked up each fish and placed it back in the tank and was able to find the seahorse. I remember thinking I need to get my betta into a different tank so I can put the seahorse in the breeder tank so I guess my betta was there too.

remember looking in the tank again and finding a large white/silver floating thing. It started to sink and I thought it was a dead fish. When I pulled it out of the tank it turned out to be some sort of weird fish food—wrapped in silver plastic shaped like a fish. It had a blue and orange label on it with a fish symbol. I remember reading the label and it said that I could leave it in the tank without worrying about having it grow fungus---it had large amounts of glucose in it that prevented fungus growth. I remember thinking that didn’t make any sense—wouldn’t sugar encourage fungus & algae growth? Anyway, when I opened the package and ripped some of the food up, it had the consistency of bread. I almost ate some but refrained realizing it was fish food—yuck…….I fed some to my black moors and made sure the catfish and lobster got some, but there was another crustacean in there that had all the arms for feeding—it didn’t look like a crab though—more like a sentinel from the Matrix.

Somehow I ended up walking gray brick streets—they reminded me of this one place in Ireland that had concrete pillars that lined the sidewalk. I was walking to this caged area—I think I had the tank under my arm. It had shrunken considerably. I walked up to the fencing and wondered how we were going to get the…the what?….I can’t remember what was beyond the fence—it was all white and fuzzy again.

It was like I was seeing the shadows of everything around me and not the actual people. It was like I was two people at the same time—I was twins or something—back in the school girl uniform.

No need to really analyze this one.  It's been too long to try to figure out what was going through my head.  Feel free to comment though.....

hmmm..first post....ever....I've been drawn into the Xanga web and I'm curious to find out where it might take me....I'm thinking that I'm going to enjoy the catharsis of posting.  And hearing what others have to say about my psyche.

Actually I should be unpacking considering I just moved.  Lots of boxes and stuff everywhere...when I finally get settle this will be a great place....if I could only learn how to curb the urge to procrastinate...   Eventually (I'm thinking in a week or so) I'll have to have people over.  Which means it will have to be decorated and clean.

The only problem with this is that I find I'm over analyzing what I write.  It's my curse....ah well.  More later.  I'll post a dream from my dream journal and see what kind of response get.

My photo
Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

Lux et Veritas

But I will hope continually
and will praise you
yet more and more.
My mouth will tell of your righteous acts,
of your deeds of salvation
all the day,
for their number
is past my knowledge.
With the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD I will come;
I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.
